The Method of Tanking i am going to explain works very well on bosses such as armadyl & Corp.
-- Levels --
For this method i would recommend:
Range: 90 +
Prayer: 95 +

Range:
Helm: Slayer Helm / Helm of neziot / Karil's Coif / Armadyl Helmet
Amulet: Amulet of ranging
Top: Black D hide / Karil's Top / Armadyl Top / Sacred Clay range top
Bottoms: Black D hide / Karil's Bottoms / Armadyl Bottoms
Gloves: Black D hide Vambraces / Barrows / Flame Gloves
Shield: Spirit Shield / Dragon Fire Shield / Dragon Square / Prayer Books
Boots: Dragon Boots / Bandos Boots
Cape: Fire cape / Trimmed Skill cape
Mage:
Helm: Infinity Hat / Ahrim's Hood
Amulet: Amulet of Fury / Slave Amulet
Top: Mystic Robe / Infinity Top / Ahrim's Top
Bottoms: Mystic Robe / Infinity Bottoms / Ahrim's Bottoms

-- Tactics --
Ok For Both Range & Mage You will need to be on the Curses Prayer Book. You can change to the curses prayer book by Praying at the chaotic altar at ::home or ::kbd.
On the prayer book you will be Using Soul Split and turmoil. For added stat bonus you can pray: leech range, when ranging, or leech Magic, when using magic.
Range:
When Ranging you will need to use the rune knives. Rune Knives are available from ::shops. (Note you will only need 1 as they do not run out. Also to use the rune knives you are required to also equip an arrow.)
Mage:
The Recommended spell to use would be Ice Barrage on the Ancient Magic Book. You can switch to the ancient magic book at ::home on the Ancient Altar.
Once you Have Done This simply go to the boss of your choice and Rape it ^^.
-- Benefits --
The benefits of using this tactic is the The soul split will constantly heal you. This is very effect and can allow player to solo bosses with ease. The only problem is that if fighting a boss such as the corporal beast, When it multi hits it can KO you so be careful. If you are a higher prayer level this means that your prayers will last ages and you can get many kill off of your prayer.
-- Recommend Inventory --
I would Recommend 10 Prayer Potions and 10 Range or Magic Potions. This leaves 8 slots for drops and is good for camping it out at bosses.

You can know use PvP armor, bought from the pk points store. So for the range just swap the armour for morrigan's and a ava's accumilator, and mage zuriel's including the staff.
