Warning Bars

Ok, so some of you may have noticed a new update to profile fields.

This is called the "Warning Bar"

This update is so that if someone is disobeying the rules of the forum then the bar will show the warnings they have.

Here is how the Warning Bar works.

When someone disobeys any of the forum rules, (listed Here), they will receive a warnings.

If you see somebody disobeying the rules you should press the "Report" button at the top right hand corner of their post. When reporting you must give a valid reason for reporting the post, and if this reason is valid then the person will receive a warning.

Besides the warning bar changing, the player will also receive a private message from myself or any of the other staff members, giving more information on this warning.


Guide to warning buttons:

These new warning buttons are not able to be changed by you all, but only by staff.

Here is what these bars are, and what they mean.

Green Bar: This player has no warnings.



Yellow Bar: This player has received 1 warning.



Orange Bar: This player has received 2 warnings.



Red Bar: This player has received their final warning. If they break any rule again they will be banned.



Grey bar with "Banned" text: This player has been banned.

Great update. Thanks again for all your hard work.

Question:
1)Who has the rights to give warnings out? (Admins I guess)
2)If only admins can give out warnings that should be changed, Mods should be able to give out warning and ban kept as Admin only.
Thats just my opinion though

I think these should be kept private so only the person with the warning can see their level. It just seems like the entire community shouldn't be able to see your warnings and then judge you about it.

Black ops, maybe only staff can see other peoples bars?

Ok well in that case that should be removed.
Warning bars are to remind yourself of how naughty you are, not for other players to comment on.

Ok well I have done what I can to fix a few issues.

First, Moderators are able to change the warning bar level, and if you would like to learn how I will post a guide in the staff section.

Second, I have made it so that these do not show up in posts, but do show up in the profile page of the member. I attempted to make this private to member and staff only however it is not possible to do on forumotion.

I will talk with Reach to see what he thinks about, whether or not we should make it so only staff can see or not, but the member will get a warning via private message.
